JOB SUMMARY
The position is an excellent opportunity for an Enterprise Print Services junior system administrator to improve their skill set while supporting a growing program. This position will report to the Manager O&S Support.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serves as an escalation point for Service Desk
  • Monitors and remediates any system health concerns of Enterprise Print Services systems within the production environment
  • Supports maintenance and updates of configuration or recovery documentation for designated systems
  • Supports improvement of performance and availability standards of the technical solutions through continual service improvement
  • Supports compliance with policies and procedures including DoD STIG requirements
  • Ensure problems, error conditions, and system events are promptly and appropriately addressed
  • Flexibility is a must and after hours on-call may occur
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Administrator experience working with Windows Print Services for Window 7, Windows 10 or MS Office 365
  • Day-to-Day sustainment of an enterprise print services environment
  • System administration of Ringdale Print Technologies systems
  • Knowledge of core features to include networking, Active Directory, domain controllers, DHCP, DNS, and virtual/cloud integration in enterprise environment
  • Knowledge of routing/switching and QoS techniques
 
  • Candidate must be an effective communicator with a team focused and collaborative attitude
  • Possess DoD Directive 8570 compliant certification (or obtain with 90 days of hire)
 
 
Desired: 
  • Administration and sustainment experience in the following disciplines:
      - Microsoft Server (2012 R2 preferred)
      - Microsoft DHCP/DNS Server
  • Willingness to learn complex systems
  • Experience with networking appliances, firewalls, and cloud/virtual environments
  • Broad working knowledge of Microsoft platforms and technologies
  • Possess one of the following certifications: MCITP; MCSA; MCSE; MCSA; MCTS
  • Scriptwriting skills to automate monitoring and management tasks
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 8+ years(Senior)  4+ years(Journeyman) work experience or equivalent experience
  • DoD 8570 compliant (Within 90 days of hire)
  • Clearance with a Polygraph TS/SCI w/CI Poly
